Cellulite Reduction

What is this? It is derived from technology created in Europe over 30 years ago. The culmination of European experience has resulted in the latest technology called DermaTherapie. It is currently the only form of therapy FDA approved for cellulite reduction.

How does it work? A series of suction applicators work in combination with a patented machine all over the body. Unlike endermologie, you do not wear a "body stocking". A deep penetrating seaweed gel is spread over your skin and my assistant begins the procedure. It does not hurt and feels like a deep massage. Deeper attention is given to areas of the dimpled appearance of cellulite. Overall however, it improves skin tone, body contour, and blood circulation. It smoothes the skin and actually detoxifies so it's important to drink lots of water afterwards. (One patient swears she feels "high" every time she has a session) I suspect this is from the same effect one gets from a deep body massage and most people feel thoroughly relaxed. It can also provide post exercise therapy by accelerating muscle recuperation. The muscles are drained to decrease muscle aches. I can personally attest to this claim. The day after my trainer has "killed" me in the gym, a session of dermatherapie does relieve my muscle aches and I'm able to go for a run by afternoon. Now thaf s incredible!

It does take around four sessions at an hour each to see a difference in the appearance of cellulite and this can be done up to two times a week. The best results are seen after twelve sessions and repeats once a month thereafter to "maintain". Every person is different and you may need less or more depending on your response. The process is greatly aided by aminophylline cream applied twice daily. Just like anything else, this is NOT a cure for cellulite or dimpled skin. But it is the only therapy to which the FDA is willing to sign its good name. We can also give you other helpful advice about shedding the appearance of bumpy skin and looking your toned best. Bikinis anyone?
